Arrive in Paro International Airport– Thimphu
If the weather favors, you may enjoy magnificent view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjungha, and other
famous Himalayan peaks including sacred Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake Peaks in Bhutan. On
your arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representative and will offer very special
welcome after short breath you will transfer to capital city (famously known as Thimphu). The drive
to Thimphu is about 1.1/2 hour. On the way, enjoy the view of the Paro Valley or red rice valley, after
30 minutes you will reach to Chuzom(meeting point of two river)and take short walk on bridge,
further precede will provide very wonderful scenery of Thimphu River through a rather arid and
Rocky landscape.After having a square meal, you’re going to visit the Memorial Chorten (built 1974 in memory of the
Third King of Bhutan who reigned from 1952-1972), Buddha point, the world largest statue of
Buddha, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Zoo followed by Thimphu Dzong. Overnight in Thimphu.

Thimphu Sightseeing and Drive to Punakha
After breakfast, you are going to visit the School of Traditional Arts, visit weaving centre and the
Zilukha nunnery which was built by Drupthop Reky Jadrel in 14thcentury. After sightseeing in
Thimphu drive to Dochula, the road climbs for 1 hour till the Dochula Pass (altitude of 3150m
approx...). Have your launch with beautiful scenery at cafeteria after that walk around the pass and
you will notice that the area is dominated by colorful prayer flags and white wash 108 Stupa which
was built in 2004. On the clear Weather, this fabulous pass will offers the most stunning view of the
Eastern snow cap Himalayans. Further journey will take you to warm and humid valley of Punakha.
On the way hike to chimmi lhakhang (famously known as fertility temple) which is located at the hill
rock and It is about 20 minutes walk through rice terraces and the village of Sosokha. The temple is
situated on the spur above the village. It is believed that barren couple will have children if they get
blessing for this temple and continue your to Bhutan's most dramatic Punakha Dzong and you will get
the chance to walk crossing the Bhutanese cantilever bridge. The Dzong was built in the year 1637 by
Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, which appeared in the shap of trunk of an elephant. Overnight stay at
hotel in Punakha.
Punakha Sightseeing - Drive to Paro
After breakfast, drive about ten kilometers north of Punakha, it is known as khamsum yullay Namgyel
chorten which is located on a hill rock of Nyizergang and it was built by HM the Queen Ashi
Tshering Yangden in December 1999. The chorten is situated in idyllic rural area. It take 45minutes
hike from the car point and once you’re inside you will see the worth full paintings which are
beautiful and present an incredibly complex iconography. After that then drive back to Paro (138km /
4 hours). After lunch, on the way back to Paro you are going to visit Ta Dzong (watch Tower) which
was built in 17th century. Now it had been turn in to National Museum followed by Paro Rimpong
Dzong which was built in 17th Century. Overnight in Paro.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest)
After breakfast, drive about 30 minutes till the car point of Taktsang Goempa (Tiger's Nest
Monastery) hike. The hike up to the viewpoint will take about 1 hour and from there you will enjoy
authentic view of the monastery clinging to the side of the cliff. You will stop there for refreshments
and then hike further up to the monastery which should take another 1 1/2 hours. The first monastery
was built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup, you will see a cave where Guru
Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three year in the 8th century. It is believed that Guru
Rinpoche flew to this location from Khenpajong, Tibet on the back of a tigress and subdued a demon.
Then performed meditation in one of the caves here and emerged in to eight manifestations forms and
blessed the place. Subsequently, the place came to be known as the “Tiger’s Nest” followed by Paro
kichu temple which was built in 7th century by the Tibetan empire. After that you will visit some of
the farm house where you will experience the pure Bhutanese life style. Today we will have dinner at
Farm House, where you can get a chance to play tradition archery, which is the national game of
Bhutan. Upon the clients decision they will also get a chance to take hot stone bath, however, the
client’s needs to pay little $ for that. After experiencing archery and hot stone bath we will enjoy the
dinner at farm house, overnight at farm house or hotel, depending on your suggestion.
